MEETINGS

The Carrollton Junior Woman's Club (CJWC) conducts monthly business and board meetings. These meetings allow us to come together to prepare for and conduct good works in our community.

BUSINESS MEETINGS

Business meetings take place at 6:30 PM on the second Tuesday of every month, excluding the months of June, July and August. The location of these meetings may change based on availability and will always be updated on social media and our Calendar of Events. These are open to the public, including members of our community and current and prospective Clubwomen.

At these meetings, we invite a speaker to address a specific Community Service Program (CSP) or local initiative that the Club can take an active role in. Often we find ourselves writing Thank You notes to teachers, collecting supplies for the local women's shelter or crafting for stress release.

Attire at these meetings is casual or business casual, simply depending on what works for you and your to-do list for the day - whether that's running in from a work commute or joining us in between soccer practice and cheer-leading tryouts for your little one(s).

Special meetings include Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations where we gather together in a gracious Clubwoman's home and enjoy a holiday meal in conjunction with our typical business coverage.

BOARD MEETINGS

Board meetings take place at 6:30 PM on the fourth Tuesday of every month, often at a Board member's home. These are open to the public but are typically reserved for our leadership.

At these meetings, we discuss upcoming events and programs, brainstorm ways to improve our reach and membership and focus on fostering a continued sense of community within the Club.
